After many years of practising as UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, experiencing and learning from the pitfalls and difficulties of the work and benefitting very much from the support of my own clinical supervisors, I decided to train as a supervisor.
I subsequently obtained a diploma in Integrative & Transpersonal Consultancy and Supervision from Naos.
The transpersonal element of the training fitted in very well both with my integrative & existential psychotherapeutic approach and with my growing awareness about the importance of taking a holistic approach in supervision to all vicissitudes of being.
Offering integrative clinical supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors and other professionals, I consider notions of relationship, encounter and meaning making as ‘central’ to what is being experienced in the ‘here and now’ of the supervisory alliance.
Our focus will therefore be on the form of the client as you relate to them and present them in supervision. For example we might explore what it is about the experience of bringing the client to supervision that feels most challenging in the work.
Through providing a supportive containing environment within which you can begin to confident express yourself freely and to explore new and creative ways of working with your clients, my aim is for ultimate development and growth in practice.
Sessions may be held as little or often as you feel the need for them and may be individuals or as part of a group.
